More than 2,000 drivers brought exotic cars to support a 15-year-old whose final wish was a cool show

WOODSTOCK, Ga. — Thousands of drivers showed up to the Woodstock Outlet Mall Sunday, showing there is hope in the world as they supported a Georgia teen battling terminal cancer.

15-year-old Zach Maxwell recently decided to stop treatment after enduring limb loss and grueling chemotherapy, wanting to spend the time he has left being a kid.

He said an exotic car show has always been his dream, making it his final wish.

The teen's cousin then put in a call to car enthusiasts and got permission to have 2,000 cars show up at the outlet mall for a car parade. Zach did not know if anyone would attend, but the community filled the parking lot with over 2,300 drivers.

“It proves there’s goodness in the world,” he said. “This proves there are so many good people in the world.”

His mother's eyes filled with tears as she looked out into the sea of beautiful and exotic cars from every corner of the state. The community's kind gesture moved her.

“These people don’t even know us. And still, they came for Zach," his mother said.
