FLORENCE, S.C. — Earlier this week, Kiara Croskey was named Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Month for December, which came after she earned that award for the month of November.
She is bidding to earn that award for a secoind consecutive month and in Wednesday's 78-53 win at home over Mount Olive, Croskey scored 16 points in the victory which improved the Patriots' record to 11-3 overall, 6-1 in Conference Carolinas.
Croskey is the cousin of South Carolina State guard Omar Croskey who like Kiara, is also from Sumter.
