SUMTER, S.C. — A missing Sumter woman reported missing last week has been found safe, according to Sumter police.
The 40-year-old had been reported missing last Tuesday by a relative who last spoke with her in September 2024. At the time, the woman was staying at a location along Camden Highway. However, police said it was unclear if she remained in the Sumter area.
